Our approach
Roots & Reflections was founded by Kamakshi Ayyar, a Columbia University-educated journalist and biographer with over a decade of experience in writing and interviewing. She has worked with and written for the likes of National Geographic Traveller India, TIME magazine, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, and Vogue Arabia.
Based in California and originally from Mumbai, India, she brings a thoughtful, cross-cultural perspective to every story she tells.
